UMW Craft & Bake Sale

at First United Methodist Church 

Bakers, Candy Makers, Condimentors, Jammers & Jelliers: Please use your talents to contribute something to our bakery/gourmet room. This popular room is a first stop for sale patrons and often sells out early. Trays for bakery items are available in the church kitchen. Note: If your recipe includes nuts, please note on label.

Donate cans of pop for Nov 4 Craft & Bake Sale: Cans may left in the church kitchen. A variety of cola, diet, root beer and other flavors are needed to accompany Sloppy Joe lunch. Cans may left in the church kitchen.  

Readers: If you have used books that a need a new home, please consider donating them to our Nov 4 Book Sale. Proceeds allow us to purchase new books and supplies for our church library. Books on all topics are needed, but most popular are fiction (mystery, romance, thrillers), cookbooks, biography, crafts and children’s books. Puzzles, games, CD music and DVD movies are also big sellers.

There are a few items that have become nearly impossible to sell: textbooks, encyclopedia, magazines, cassette and VHS tapes. Please save these for recycling.

Boxes and bags of donated books marked “Book Sale” may be left in the library or in the hallway by Friday, Nov 3.
