Worship for Sunday July 3, 2016

June 30, 2016

On this Independence Day weekend, come and join us for worship at 10 a.m.  We will be sharing communion this Sunday and all are welcome to participate.

Scripture Reading: II Kings 5:1-14

Sermon: Blinded by the Light

Morning Prayer: Great and gracious God, whose love is power and whose power is love, we pray for our world that it might move in the direction of your dream for it – love, peace, reconciliation, kindness, compassion, justice.  We pray for our nation, that its people might work together toward its stated dream of liberty and justice for all.  We pray for those with power, leaders and nations, that power might be used well and that it might not isolate or blind.  By your Spirit keep our eyes and hearts open and grant us courage to work for the common good and for your reign.  In Jesus.  Amen.

Songs: Come, We That Love the Lord; Wash, O God, Our Sons and Daughters; America the Beautiful

Musicians: Parker Hinnenkamp, organ; Rebecca Peterson, cello; Josie Peterson, piano
