Morning Prayer: O God, your love in Jesus is deep and wide and welcoming.  In Jesus you reach out to the entire world.  By your Spirit you are inviting all humanity to be about the work of your dream for the world – justice, beauty, peace, reconciliation, compassion, forgiveness, love.  How often we humans fail to welcome as deeply and widely as you.  How expert even we who name the name of Jesus are at drawing lines, at leaving out, at turning a cold shoulder.  Welcome us again, O God, and give us grace to be your welcoming people.  In Jesus.  Amen.
