Worship Sunday August 2, 2015
Join us for worship at 10 a.m. We will share in communion together and you are welcome to join all who are here. We will also be hearing the rest of the story from last week.
Scripture Reading: II Samuel 11:26-12:13a
Sermon: Reflections
Morning Prayer: Gracious God, among the practices which seem to foster a deepening of faith is self-reflection. You invite us to ponder our lives, examine our hearts, pay attention to our souls. When we do we are bound to find wonderful gifts – beauty, goodness, and love. We will also find wounds and scars, and inevitably some things in our lives that are not what we would like them to be. Grant us grace, O God, to have the courage to look within, the courage to change, and the courage to accept forgiveness. In Jesus. Amen.
Songs: All Who Hunger; You Satisfy the Hungry Heart; Together We Serve
Musicians: Nikki Hill, violin; Carol Donahue, harp; Velda Graham Bell, organ
