Current Sunday In-Person and Online Services and Bulletins

This is the second Sunday of Advent. We’ll light the second Advent candle and celebrate Holy Communion. The children and youth of the congregation have been working for weeks on their Christmas pageant, and they’re excited to present it to all of us this Sunday. Several kids and teens will also be sharing their musical talents on piano and flute. It’ll be a fun morning, and we hope lots of people will be present to enjoy their efforts. Afterwards, there will be a reception, along with our usual coffee and doughnuts, in Lakeview Social Hall.

Please be aware that our services are livestreamed, and any adults or children participating in musical groups, children’s messages, and liturgist roles will appear on camera. 

A nursery for children age 5 and under is available on the lower level. Activity bags for children remaining in worship will be available at the Family Table in the Narthex. There will be Sunday School for K-4th graders , and 5th and 6th graders will help.

For those who will watch the service online, either live or later in the week, please fill out the Connect Card.  If you are attending in person, you may also record your attendance using this card. This is important for maintaining accurate church records. If you need help or have questions, please call the church office at 218-727-5021 between 9am and 3pm, Monday-Friday. Upcoming Worship

Worship in November

We worship in person in our Sanctuary every Sunday at 10am and online on YouTube every Sunday morning at 10am. The service can also be watched online anytime after 10am Sunday morning.

November 2: All Saints Sunday: we will name, light a candle, and remember those from our congregation who have died this past year. You will have an opportunity to light a candle in memory of your own loved ones. We will also celebrate Holy Communion. Remember to turn your clocks back an hour!

November 9: We will reflect on how giving blesses everyone and brings about a more peaceful world. We will celebrate a baptism and recognize the service of our veterans.

November 16: Consecration Sunday, where you will be asked to make an estimate of your financial giving to the ministries and mission of the church for 2026. After the service, there will be soup and bread for everyone to enjoy together in Lakeview Social Hall or to take home to eat.

November 23: Thanksgiving Sunday. We will talk about our Advent/Christmas mission project.

November 30: The first Sunday of Advent. The sermon title is Heaven and Nature Sings.
